VI International Workshop of Cooperative Trends

Strategies for Business Internationalization of Credit Co‑operatives

         The workshop on international cooperative trends is a biennial event since its beginning, in 1998, and aims to open for discussion amongst cooperatives’ leaders, representative entities, government agencies and academic community the main changes in the global cooperative sector.
         The previous Workshop versions have already discussed opening processes for external capital in cooperatives, the formation New Generation Cooperatives, the integration and merging processes between cooperatives, and the cooperation and business policies in cooperatives.
         The main objective of this sixth Workshop edition is to study and to discuss strategies regarding business internationalization of credit cooperatives, in order perhaps to integrate these strategies to the Brazilian cooperative leader’s strategic options.
