The University of São Paulo (USP) is located in the São Paulo state and owns 8 campi total, in the cities of São Paulo, Bauru, Lorena, Piracicaba, Pirassununga, Ribeirão Preto and São Carlos, having around 46 thousand under-graduation students and 32 thousand graduation students.
Ribeirão Preto campus has 7.585 students, including 3.488 masters, doctorate and post-doctorate students, and 756 professors.
